Dimitris Palaiogiannis is a musician and composer.

He studied piano and advanced music theory in Athens and music technology & acoustics in Crete. Since 2012 he holds a Master of Music degree in Music Design, from Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht.

Apart from solo projects, he composes music and carry out the music design for films & animation, dance performance, theatrical play and video games.
In 2012 he composed music for the promo videos of “KLIK! Amsterdam  Animation Festival 2012” and the line up videos of “Plissken Festival 2012”. In 2014 he participated as a composer in the interactive installaton project “Gendarmenmarkt Berlin Projection Mapping”.

He has orchestrated songs and instrumental music for other artists, as well as the music themes for the featured film "Four Black Suits" (director: Renos Charalambidis). He also works as a piano & keyboard player in concerts & studio recordings and he teaches piano & body music.
Since 2016 he participates in Music Archaeology Project "HERMES", in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, wich is about the research, reconstruction and use of ancient Hellenic Musical Instruments.
